Lunched @ NUSS with the family, Laurel and Sylvain came like super duper late.
Alaia was being clingy and stuff to the Mothership, lolz.
Sylvain found a beetle in his food, wtfbbq right.
Some sort of top notch restaurant, my foot.
Pops complained to the operations manager :/
Met St @ PS for Alvin & Chipmunks 2.
Show was quite nice and funny, heheh.
Shopped around @ 313 Somerset and Ion, saw Keith and Grace.
Went to Hong Kong Cafe @ Ion for late dinner cos both of us were starving.
Trained to Marina for countdown, everywhere was jam packed.
Found a place at the level 2 staircase I think.
Moved down to the big crowd area cos St was afraid we would get blocked by the building.
Place was swarmed with people I swear.
Got blocked a little bit by that thingee over there, besides that it was fine.
People started to leave after 3 minutes of fireworks just to catch the mrt, geez.
Walked over to Esplanade after that to slack till about 2 before Pops came to pick me up.
He said Clarke Quay was epic, maybe should go there next year or something.
Newayz, happy new year!
Luv 2010, welcome to the new decade!

Celebrated 8 months with St. Went to Sentosa to suntan, funny right. Neway no matter how much I try, I can never grow darker -.- Pictures all with St cos I didn't bring my camera, only have this few with me!
Went to Tanjong beach instead of the other two which are always so crowded. Saw Jiemin and Fanny there, doubt they saw me. Rained halfway, so spoiler right! Hid under the little hut we put our stuff at, both of us were shivering hahahz.
Btw the toilet there is flooded with peacocks! I had a little bit of separation anxiety that I kept whining outside the toilet cos I was afraid they would fly over my cubicle while I was bathing -.-
Went to Novena for steamboat after that, muahahaah. Finally brought St there after like... 8 months? -.- He still prefers the food at the Suntec steamboat, sheesh.
And this is me playing with marshmellows in my mouth, lolz.

Slacked at tcc for awhile till the movie started.
He tried to piece up his present! :D
St bought me this gigantic huge giraffe as my Christmas present!
Cute right... :D
Marion came over for the house party with Pop's friends.
So funny looking at her rummage through my two shelves of cds, hahah.
Deuel came over for dinner too, don't know the other two guys there :/

Happy 17th birthday Berlyn! Hope you enjoyed yourself that day (: Went to Vivo to repair all our LG phones, lol. Kinda ridiculous that I sent in St's Renoir in for servicing twice and it still has so many problems >:@ Almost fought with the LG girl but hahah she ended up being Xj's friend. Originally decided to go to Astons@Cathay for dinner but since we were all famished we just headed over to Carl's Junior, Xj's first time!
Headed up to the Sky Park to cut cake!
Had a really difficult time getting the candles lit cos it was so windy :/
Since we all had overflowing bladders from the free flow of drinks@Carls Jr, headed to the toilet.
Went back to the auditorium to slack for awhile >:/
Then home sweet home near midnight!
There was this couple in the train being all lovey dovey that all of us couldn't stand, lolz.
Vivo is so far from my place, prolly reached home when both of them were going to bed -.-

Realized we passed him the present without writing on the card, oops.
Happy 19th Birthday Hellven!
Chalet@Downtown East Pasir Ris.
Shocked at the number of people who turned up.
Lorraine, Angela and April didn't come in the end >:@

We wear a mask that grins and lies
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes
This debt we pay to human guile
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile

I self-reflected and realized what a bitch I was to St today. Sorry.
Note to self: Must.learn.to.control.my.emotions.

It's a fact of life that we often have no control over who crosses our path. We may find ourselves in situations where we are unwittingly drawn into a volatile confrontation with an emotionally-charged person. If we react in a similarly emotional vein, we may find ourselves hurting towards some regretful conclusion.
Just the other day I got molested on the train. I was trying to keep my cool in the beginning, but his pervertic tactics were much too strong - too much for me to handle. I couldn't stand it after that that everyone saw me with raised voices, unfair accusations and obscenities being thrown out.
This kind of scene is not uncommon in real life. Perhaps you yourself have felt overwhelmed by the over-reactive emotional behavior of someone and just felt like you had to scream or throw something?
This happens when we allow someone else to control our feelings. In such cases, we have no control over the other person, but we do have control over our response. We shouldn't allow someone else to dictate that.
When faced with an emotional confrontation, think about the choices available to you.
First of all, is the cost of engaging with this person worth it? It's often useful to consider whether you should be wrestling with a pig in the mud... It gets really dirty and the pig enjoys it.
Is your physical well-being at risk? Take a moment to calm yourself and assess the situation. It often only takes a second to do something you'll regret for a lifetime.
Next, set aside the emotions and examine the facts. What really is the issue here? How crucial is this issue to the rest of your life? Try looking at the situation from a larger perspective.
At this point, it also helps greatly to have a calming thought or visual to counter the negative emotions. This could be a phrase, a wish, or a peace-inducing image; anything that helps distract from the boiling conditions at hand, maybe something like "This will be over very soon, and looking back, it won't even make any difference to my life. So just let it go..."
And in the last stage of this confrontation-management process, positively affirm your own value. Remember that you are worthy, even after setback or tumble, just like a dollar bill has the same value even if its crushed or town. Respect yourself not to be drawn into an unnecessarily ugly confrontation.
I wish.
